Thermal Integrity inspections are limited to areas, equipment, piping,
components, and conditions that are safely accessible and within the agreed
scope at the time of inspection. Findings are based on visual observations,
thermal imaging, measurements, and information available during the inspection.
Concealed, inaccessible, obstructed, or otherwise unobservable conditions may
not be identified.
Thermal imaging
is a non-destructive inspection method that identifies temperature patterns and
potential thermal anomalies. Thermal images and observations do not, by
themselves, confirm corrosion, corrosion under insulation (CUI), moisture
beneath insulation, loss of insulation performance, or other concealed
conditions.
Potential CUI
indicators, moisture indicators, abnormal temperature patterns, or other signs
of concealed deterioration should be considered conditions that may warrant
further evaluation when appropriate. Additional inspection methods, including
insulation removal, non-destructive examination (NDE), engineering evaluation,
or other testing, may be recommended based on observed conditions.
This report
provides observations and recommendations based on the agreed inspection scope
and conditions present at the time of inspection. It is not a substitute for
engineering judgment, code-required inspections, NDE, safety inspections,
regulatory requirements, or the customer's established maintenance and
asset-integrity programs.
Final decisions
regarding repairs, continued operation, shutdowns, engineering evaluations,
regulatory or code compliance, and additional testing remain the responsibility
of the owner/operator and appropriately qualified personnel.

Thermal Integrity does not warrant or guarantee that all defects,
deterioration, energy losses, moisture intrusion, corrosion, CUI, insulation
deficiencies, or other concealed conditions have been identified during the
inspection.
